A New Value Blueprint

TRS provides a template, a philosophy and a measurement system for organizations and entities to view their role on a broader scale. It examines an entity across four dimensions: sustainable, intent-based, vision; economic potential of relationships; productivity of feedback loops; and alignment of intent, behaviors and communications. Within each dimension, the goal is to map the organization/entity against a set of TRS principles to understand how well it is structured to meet rules of sustainability. For example, is the (corporate, community, nations) intent and value system strong enough to create an environment characterized by mutual benefits, continual change, risk taking, customization, and flexibility that today’s environment requires? Relationships are surveyed across numerous dimensions to see how successfully the entity currently satisfies an evolving platform of needs and desires, both rational and emotional. The characteristics of existing communication/relationship loops are mapped to understand how they enhance or restrict the entity’s ability to rapidly shift gears to satisfy changing stakeholder demands. In addition to reviewing own capabilities against a conceptual standard, the TRS template can be used to compare competitors and internal innovations, generate new practices and initiatives, and establish new goals.

On a philosophical level TRS can help leaders and administrators begin an internal dialogue focused on redesigning the organization/society to meet the demands of a new, rapidly changing, chaotic economy. On a pragmatic level it provides an objective methodology for establishing new performance measures that focus the organization/society on developing mutually beneficial relationships that secure and enhance its future.

In a period where organizations and entities are contemplating and re-evaluating their strategy, capabilities and contributions, TRS can act as a lightning rod. It can focus the energy of multiple beliefs, strategies, programs, communications and messages along a single axis – an axis that illuminates the landscape of diverse actions under one powerful, transforming scheme.
